We strive to stay true to our Vision .....

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is a comprehensive unit comprising of seven different specialities, functioning seamlessly to deliver prompt and accurate diagnosis to all patients. Our strengths lie in the fact that we are the trend setters for specialisation in various diagnostic specialities. We were the first hospital to start Oncopathology as a specialized division in the state, and we are the first Renal Lab with Immunoflourescence and Electron Microscopy in the Coimbatore city.
We are the only centre in the whole country to have specialized diagnosis for primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, with High Speed Videoscopy, Immunoflourescence and EM for the same. The strength of the Department and it's uniqueness stems from the dedicated team of super specialised consultants comprising of oncopathologists, haematopathologists, molecular pathologists, speciality trained pathologists, microbiologists and biochemists.
